I went to the Amon Carter Museum this past Saturday to see the Meet Me at the Trinity exhibition. The work is all photography, the work of Terry Evans. The images are wonderful. The compositions and the use of perspective are outstanding.

The artist has a statement about this project on her portfolio web site. I didn’t find it until after my visit to the museum, but it was a pleasure to understand how a professional photographer sees a complex subject like the Trinity River through to a successful completion.

In another gallery on the second floor they have some work of Alfred Stieglitz on display. The significance of Stieglitz art is a little harder to see. Still, worth a look.
